Project Details

The Waste-to-Energy project for Madeira Island focuses on the energy recovery of biomass forestry waste. This initiative aims to process 30,000 tons of biomass per year and includes five Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) lines with a total capacity of 900 kWe. The project is designed to convert biomass forestry waste into renewable energy, contributing to Madeira Island's sustainability goals. The use of ORC technology allows for efficient energy recovery from low-temperature heat sources, making it ideal for biomass applications. The integration of ORC technology ensures high operational efficiency and reliability. The system is designed to operate continuously, providing a stable and consistent supply of renewable energy.
