50 MW Dual-Fuel Power Plant (Kupang - Timor)

The power plant is designed to generate 50 MW of electricity using dual- fuel engines that can operate on both liquefied natural gas (LNG) and diesel.

Project Details

The project aimed to optimize RDF treatment by developing and implementing advanced technical solutions. This involved a detailed analysis of the waste management strategies, infrastructure and waste production processes of the participating companies. The main components of the project were: Strategic Plan Analysis, Infrastructure Assessment, Waste Production Characterization, Mapping of Participating Companies. This project represented a collaborative effort to improve waste management and energy recovery practices, contributing to environmental sustainability and economic efficiency.

The study continued to develop several sectors of the waste management units, namely the 4th line of Valorsul, 1 WtE Plant in the North region, another in the Center and another in the South region.
